Mrs Barton has enjoyed a professional career in the beauty industry since 1983. Mrs. Barton is a graduate of the Cecil County Vocational Technical High School, where she studied cosmetology. Upon graduation she went on to earn her license to practice cosmetology in 1983. Since that time Mrs Barton has worked as a professional stylist and for a period of time also a salon owner. She believes strongly in education and has attend and participated in numerous educational workshops. In 2004, Mrs Barton successfully completed the instructor program offered by Schilling-Douglas. Upon completion of this program, she went on to earn her instructor license for the State of Delaware. Since that time she has been an active instructor at the school. Mrs Barton has furthered her ongoing commitment to education by earning certification as a Master Educator through Milady’s the career institute. She is an OPI certified instructor. “Teaching is a very rewarding career. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that I have given my students the proper knowledge and training to be successful in the beauty industry and make the world a beautiful place.
