Mr. Owens has been a beauty professional for over 20 years. His career began in the mid 80’s when he attended and graduated from the Schilling-Douglas School of Hair Design cosmetology program. After earning his cosmetologist license in 1986, Mr. Owens went on to further his education by attending and graduating the schools instructor program. Mr. Owens has been a licensed instructor since the late 80’s.Through out his career, Mr. Owens has practiced as an educator, a cosmetologist, a barber and even a beauty salon owner. Mr. Owens achievements include certification as a master educator from Milady’s career institute an certifications from an extensive list of manufactures such as: Clairol, Wella, Redken, Sun glitz, Tammy Taylor and OPI, to name a few. Personally, Mr Owens has served in the past as a board member for the Harford County Parks and Recreation. In his spare time Mr. Owens enjoys composing, playing and recording music and is a member of BMI – song writer/composer. |
